Better Websites for Enhanced Judicial Transparency

The USAID Open Justice Project in Moldova completed the process of upgrading internet presentations of 19 Moldovan courts this month. This effort complements previous Project work supporting the launch of the webpages of the National Court’s Portal, the Agency for Court Administration, and the Superior Council of Magistracy.

All court webpages were optimized with a better and more user-friendly interface, improved functionalities, and easier access for the visually and hearing impaired. They are also interconnected with the Integrated Case Management System which allows access to information on the e.g. status of a judicial complaint, which previously was not the case. Hearing schedules are also available, and it is possible for court users to view and download judicial decisions.
