Overcoming Communication Challenges Facing Judges and Prosecutors in a Global Crisis

The USAID Judiciary Against Corruption Activity (JACA) has maintained close communication and support with its partner courts and prosecutor’s offices amid the public health emergency circumstances brought about by the pandemic. One of the activities implemented by JACA is an on-line workshop for court presidents, chief prosecutors, and public relations officers during which they discussed the crisis situations, including the corona virus pandemic, and challenges it has posed to communication in courts and prosecutor's offices. There is mutual consensus that the fight against corruption remains one of the top priorities of BiH's judiciary, with good communication and transparency identified as key components of these activities.
