Judiciary Against Corruption Activity in Bosnia and Herzegovina Kick-Off Event Held

The kick-off event for the new USAID Judiciary Against Corruption Activity (JACA) was marked today at the session of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council in Sarajevo. As stated during the event, JACA will support the judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina through two key areas of interventions: 1) improving the work of prosecution offices and courts in investigating and adjudicating high profile cases of corruption, economic and organized crime, and 2) preventing corruption within the judiciary. The Activity will directly support those judicial institutions that can be expected to work on high-profile cases – courts and prosecutor’s offices in Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka, Bihac, Zenica and Tuzla.
